Our Adapt Specialists hold accredited degrees across a range of disciplines — including Physical Therapy, Physiology, Kinesiology, and Exercise and Health Science, from Bachelor's through PhD programs.
Our Specialists are deeply invested in the communities they serve — sharing their knowledge with members, partner organizations, and adaptive fitness professionals across the United States and internationally.

Founded in 2017 by John and Melanie Monteith, Adapt is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit community center built for people navigating neurological conditions. Since opening, we have served over 850 members from more than 20 countries — and we are just getting started.
Where many organizations focus on a single service or modality, Adapt brings movement, education, and community together under one roof. Every program is designed around the individual — their goals, their condition, and the life they want to live.
